Search Engines and Semantics

Words have multiple meanings. This creates a problem for your ability to search for information on the web. Search Engines simply catalog the words but they don't do a good job of putting your words in context. If you search for "home runs", you may get many hits on "homes" or other real estate sites.
But there is good news. Works is being done by some companies to improve the search capability of the web. ENTH is one of those companies. Their search engine will take your key phrase and apply some semantics to refine the results. Currently they focus on the indexing of sports information but will branch out in time. Check out their website ENTH.com.
